(Swamp) Water: Photo101

Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve lies just outside of New Orleans. We walked on trails along the bayous, looking out for alligators. We saw a 10 foot gator basking on a bayou bank, and also the smaller one shown here, hiding in the middle of the water plants, awaiting its prey. Unfortunately, we could not get a close photo of the big guy.
